We’re Jeremy and Jaquel, and PooPro started with a problem we kept having on our own dog walks.
Bags unravelled. Spare rolls ended up in pockets. Full bags were unpleasant to carry. And the last bag always seemed to disappear exactly when we needed it.
We kept thinking the same thing: there has to be a better way.
So Jeremy started building one.
What began as a fix for our own walks became PooPro, and eventually a family business built around helping other dog owners handle the messy part of the walk a little better.
The idea was simple. Getting it right wasn’t.
We went through hundreds of designs, prototypes and iterations before PooPro became the product it is today. Some ideas worked. Plenty didn’t. So we kept printing, testing, changing and trying again.
Every version taught us something about how to keep bags controlled, make them easier to see, carry the full bag and reduce unnecessary handling.
Becoming a PooPro took a lot of prototypes.
Turns out, handling sh*t properly takes work.
Jeremy designed PooPro with a very clear idea of how people would use it.
Then PooPros started doing their own thing.
Some keep it on the leash. Others clip it to a belt, bag or backpack. Some use it because they hate loose bags in their pockets. Others just want everything ready to grab and go.
Jaquel thinks this is brilliant. Jeremy is still processing it.
But that’s become one of our favourite things about PooPro. We designed the tool. You decide what being a PooPro looks like.
Clip it where you want it. Carry it how you want it. Make it yours.
How do you PooPro?
PooPro is designed and made right here in Alaska.
Keeping production close means we stay involved in how every product is made, how it improves and how we grow the business.
We’re still a small family company, and we like it that way. It lets us keep questioning things, testing ideas and finding better ways to make the everyday dog walk less of a hassle.
Our manufacturing process is designed with low waste in mind, and as we grow, we’re working towards using more recycled plastics in our products.
We started by trying to make our own walks better. Now we’re building products for a growing group of people who want the same thing.
Welcome to PooPro. Time to become one.
